Short Review: 100 Words or Less (no spoilers)
Given how iconic this movie has become, and how many sequels and spin-offs and remakes and copycats it has produced, I really expected it to be much better. It’s not particularly scary, and it’s kind of corny to be honest. The characters aren’t likeable, which might be because they consistently make stupid choices or maybe they’re just written poorly, or perhaps both. At least the film has a somewhat decent ending.
Final Grade: D+
