Short Review: 100 Words or Less (no spoilers)
There’s a lot to like about season one: the premise is unique and intriguing, the world-building is pretty great, the visuals are terrific, and the action sequences are awesome. The fight scenes are the strongest part of the show, which is great, but shouldn’t the characters be the best part? Season one struggles somewhat with character development and character likeability. The stiff dialogue doesn’t help much either. The first season also suffers from some inconsistent scripts, trying to tell a complicated and sweeping tale in a manner that is often confusing or repetitive.
