Short Review: 100 Words or Less (no spoilers)
I don’t have anything against musicals in particular, nor do I have anything against “old” movies, but this old musical just isn’t that good. This film, particularly the corny script and the lack of memorable songs, seems beneath the talents of Frank Sinatra, Gene Kelly and Vera Ellen – all of whom I’ve seen in much better movies. Also, and I don’t mean to pile on the negative criticism here, but the character of Ozzie (played by Jules Munshin) is almost offensively stupid and ridiculous. He’s not the only regrettable character here, just the most obvious.

Final Grade: D+
