Luke Skywalker, a farmboy from a backwater desert planet, joins the Rebel Alliance to rescue a princess and so begins one of the most awesome film franchises ever.

Short Review: 100 Words or Less (no spoilers)
I loved this movie as a kid, and I still love it today. The story is terrific and the film has essentially become iconic. Han Solo and Princess Leia are two of the best characters in science fiction… ever. Luke Skywalker may be the “hero with a thousand faces,” but the true heart of Star Wars will always be Han and Leia for me. Also, in my opinion, the 1977 version was perfect as it was. George Lucas did not need to alter this movie in any way for the re-release. (Han shot first!)

  1. How do all the Star Wars movies rank for you? I’ve only seen two of them, and while I enjoyed A New Hope, I felt like I didn’t have the same nostalgia-love for it.
