Short Review: 100 Words or Less (no spoilers)
Oh, Pretty Woman, you’re so right, but you’re also so, so wrong. This movie is one of the best romantic comedies ever made, yet it sends such horrible messages to young people about love, exploitation, prostitution, and opportunity. As a responsible commentary on modern romance, this movie fails miserably; but as a happily-ever-after romantic fairy tale, this movie is the best. Plus, Julia Roberts is fantastic in this movie. So is Hector Elizondo.
