Short Review: 100 Words or Less (no spoilers)
I like this movie. I don’t particularly like the ending (I think the conclusion is rushed and a little sappy), but the rest of the film is strong and holds up respectfully over time. The premise is intriguing, the script is clever, and the overall story is suspenseful and rewarding. Solid performances by both Dennis Quaid and Jim Caviezel. This is also a feel good movie for adults who wish they could have a “do over” with their aging parents. I had a different emotional reaction watching this film yesterday (now in my mid-thirties) than I did fifteen years ago.
