Short Review: 100 Words or Less (no spoilers)
The Lego Movie is so much fun. It’s clever, laugh out-loud-funny, moving, and has a great script and terrific voice acting. There is a lot to like about this film. Almost everything is awesome. My one gripe is the live action part in the third act. I understand what the movie was going for, but there was something about it that just didn’t feel right to me. It’s hard to pinpoint; I just know I didn’t particularly like that part. Other than that, I think this movie is pretty great. MVP award goes to Charlie Day as Benny the spaceman.

Final Grade: B+

  1. I loved the Live Action part haha. It gave me major Toy Story 3 vibes. It’s funny, I remember when the trailers first came out, that movie looked terrible, but it was actually a really well-made movie.

Love the concise reviews. Very efficient!
