Short Review: 100 Words or Less (no spoilers)
I read all of the Chronicles of Narnia books as a child and I have fond memories of the imaginary Pevensie children and their adventures. Unfortunately, this movie does not quite capture the magic of the books. It looks good visually and the story stays fundamentally true to novel, but something  seems to have gotten lost in translation to the big screen. I’m not sure if it is the rigid script, the inexperienced actors, the material being somewhat outdated or perhaps my overly high expectations, but this movie doesn’t really work for me.
