What’s It About?
Eight strangers across the globe with nothing in common but the same birthday are suddenly linked to each other mentally and begin seeing the same visions of a dying woman.
Short Review: 100 Words or Less (no spoilers)
The mythology of season one is somewhat disjointed and some of the scripts could use some polish (particularly the dialogue), but none of that really matters since the characters on this show are so awesome. The driving force of season one isn’t the ongoing psychic mystery, it’s the compelling and loveable characters. My favorites are star crossed lovers Kala and Wolf (Tina Desai and Max Riemelt), closeted Lito (Miguel Ángel Silvestre), and blue-blooded Will (Brian J. Smith). There’s something special here, as unpolished as it may be. Also, I’ve watched the “What’s Up” karaoke clip about a hundred times now.
