Short Review: 100 Words or Less (no spoilers)
I like how the film does a record scratch at the midpoint and completely changes from a hostage caper to a vampire showdown. The script is smart (vulgar, but smart), and I like how the filmmakers brought something original, bold, and completely unexpected when this movie debuted. I know it’s considered iconic by many, and I can understand why. Personally, I don’t love it as much as most critics do, but I do enjoy it. I would like it more but the movie takes some really dark emotional twists in the second half that bum me out.

Final Grade: C+
