Short Review: 100 Words or Less (no spoilers)
So, this movie is propaganda disguised as children’s entertainment, right? The point of this movie is to teach kids that corporations are evil and the rainforests must be saved. I’m not against films having a specific purpose or message, but the manipulation in this one is just so obvious. And it’s not even necessary. We all know that rainforests should be saved and companies that kill trees are evil, and we’ve known it since we were children and saw a cartoon about a pollution monster attacking fairies… wait a minute, did FernGully pull off an Inception in my childhood? Foghorns!!!
