Short Review: 100 Words or Less (no spoilers)
A classic film with a classic message. This movie is over sixty-five years old, but I think its themes of universal cooperation and putting an end to war remain relevant today. With that said, I prefer not to overanalyze this movie too much. If I do, I’ll start nitpicking about plot holes, stiff dialogue, and the all-too-convenient way everything continually falls into place for our heroes. Also, the description of how the aliens actually keep peace in the galaxy is more sketchy than benevolent (robot overlords, much?), So, don’t overthink this one, just enjoy it for its good intentions.
