Short Review: 100 Words or Less (no spoilers)
I want to applaud the filmmakers and the cast for telling this story. I think the world needs more stories by and about First Nations, Inuit and Métis people, and also by and about two-spirit folks. It’s true that this movie has some obvious technical flaws and certain elements could have been significantly improved, but there is still great power and emotion in the story being told here. The struggles faced by the characters are resonant and meaningful. My compliments go to the cast and crew for their efforts to make this film. I hope they keep at it.

Final Grade: D+
