What’s It About?
A young woman about to be married secretly invites the three men who may be her father to attend the wedding, unbeknownst to her mother. This movie is adapted from the Broadway musical and uses many songs from the band ABBA.

Short Review: 100 Words or Less (no spoilers)
Ugh. There are so many great actors in this movie, but they all look so foolish here. I’ve seen the stage musical and I enjoyed it, but I think the movie is a complete flop. Somehow, the fun and enjoyment of the stage play get lost in translation to the big/small screen. Instead of being catchy and cheerful, the movie’s singing and dancing seem corny and over the top, and the story itself feels disjointed and forced. Poor Amanda Seyfried, Christine Baranski, Colin Firth, and all the rest who deserve much better.
