Short Review: 100 Words or Less (no spoilers)
This is a remake of 1956’s Invasion of the Body Snatchers, but it is much weaker and sloppier. The script is kind of a mess, and the plot is jumpy and disjointed. According to Wikipedia, this movie had significant reshoots after initial production ended, and additional scenes were shot with a different director. I think the overall lack of cohesion is obvious in the final product. Despite its significant structural flaws, the movie does boast a great performance by Nicole Kidman. She caries the film well, through its many rough patches, and I was definitely rooting for her character.

Final Grade: C
