The Legend of Tarzan 2016

US Title:
The Legend of Tarzan
David Yates

Short Review: 100 Words or Less (no spoilers)
I wasn’t too thrilled with this one. It has a couple of good moments and some impressive visuals, but the overall story is very scattered, messy, and also kind of hokey. I think the script tries to do too many things at once and the result is that it doesn’t do any of those things particularly well. I enjoyed the supporting cast more than the main saga. Both Margot Robbie and Samuel L. Jackson give strong performances that are fun to watch. I wish more time had been spent with those characters; it might have made for a better movie.

Final Grade: C-
