Short Review: 100 Words or Less (no spoilers)
This is a great movie. Strong acting, incredible script, great visuals, gripping story, and a powerful ending. I really like it. The movie skillfully integrates disparate themes of class warfare, survival, sacrifice, and family into a single, captivating narrative, told amidst the backdrop of a bullet train speeding towards some unknown conclusion. The film’s atmosphere and setting are simultaneously expansive and claustrophobic (an entire world exists on a single train), and the terrific performances by many in the cast (Chris Evans, Octavia Spencer, Tilda Swinton, Ed Harris, John Hurt to name a few) elevate an excellent script even higher.

Final Grade: A
