Short Review: 100 Words or Less (no spoilers)
I can’t say enough wonderful things about Season 1 of The OA. I binged it in one day (and night); I couldn’t get enough. It is absolutely amazing. Unique, addictive, riveting, transcendent, heartbreaking, hopeful. It makes you feel; it makes you care; it makes you want to believe. The story is captivating; the scripts are great; each episode is strong, no weak installments. The cast is fantastic; so many stand-out performances: Brit Marling, Emory Cohen, Brandon Perea, Ian Alexander to name a few. MVP award goes to Phyllis Smith who was phenomenal. I desperately want need a second season.
Final Grade: A+
