Short Review: 100 Words or Less (no spoilers)
I think I understand what this move wanted to accomplish: show an average gay guy turning into a modern-day hero and sex symbol while remaining true to himself. But the movie struggles to tell that story due to poor cinematography, choppy editing, and a wobbly script. I feel like this was only a “first draft” – like it still needed to be proofread, edited, and refined before release. The movie has good intentions, but could have definitely benefited from additional review and polishing. (Oh, there’s also an uncomfortable backstory involving a student-teacher relationship that’s never fully explained or resolved. It’s weird.)
