Short Review: 100 Words or Less (no spoilers)
This movie effectively combines a lot of different elements: horror, mystery, romance, drama and suspense. The two main characters are likeable and worth rooting for: they make smart decisions (unusual for horror movie protagonists) and they actively try to figure out what is happening to them and how to escape. Kudos to both Karolina Wydra and Steven Strait for their performances – they are the only two actors on screen for most of the movie and they carry it quite well. Also, I really like the film’s conclusion; it’s nice to see a horror movie with a relatively happy ending.
