Short Review: 100 Words or Less (no spoilers)
I first saw this movie fifteen years ago, and I hated it. I thought it was tedious, boring and overrated. However, having re-watched it recently (now much older and hopefully at least a little wiser), I can appreciate this movie in ways that I could not before. Although I still think the movie is too long (almost three hours!), the acting is quite good and the story is undeniably moving. Maybe you have to experience love yourself before you can appreciate movies about it? I don’t know. Anyway, the film is quite decent if you can get past the runtime.
