Short Review: 100 Words or Less (no spoilers)
On the surface, this movie is a typical low-budget action yarn with little plot and lots of gunfire, one of dozens like it you’ve seen before late at night or on a lazy afternoon. Even with big names like Danny Glover, Vinnie Jones and Sean Astin in the cast, it’s still just a subpar B-movie. However, this movie feels much bigger and it’s surprisingly enjoyable to watch because of John Foo. His fight scenes are terrific (the man has mad skills), and his “Odd-Couple-in-handcuffs” bromance with Falk Hentschel makes this film surprisingly endearing and a lot of fun to watch.
