Short Review: 100 Words or Less (no spoilers)
This was a good movie. It told an important, previously classified, historical story and also gave us a sobering reminder of the persecution of homosexuals throughout history.  It’s a true-life tale (with some dramatic licenses), yet it’s as intense as a modern-day spy thriller. Benedict Cumberbatch was terrific and the supporting cast was stellar, particularly Keira Knightley and Matthew Goode. Although I liked this movie very much, I think the script is a little clumsy at times and occasionally succumbs to overly simplistic dialogue. That might have been unavoidable given how much story needed to be packed into two hours.
