Short Review: 100 Words or Less (no spoilers)
The setting for this film is so perfectly dark and foreboding that I was prepared to be genuinely creeped out and scared. But sadly I was not. Yes, there are some chilling, creepy moments, but they are few and far between. Mostly, I found myself annoyed at the story. I simply didn’t like it, hated it almost, including the ending. I watched a family rip itself apart instead of coming together and I did NOT like it. My negative reaction to this movie is primarily based on my dislike of the storyline, and not on the technical elements or casting.
