What’s It About?
Sequel to the first film, this time with a rogue sorority moving into the house next door to our older-but-not-necessarily-wiser, beleaguered couple.
Short Review: 100 Words or Less (no spoilers)
It’s not as funny as the original, but it’s still enjoyable. The first film was clearly focused on the main conflict between the “older” newlyweds and the college frat boys, but the sequel is more scattered with a larger cast and various side stories. Some of the jokes feel repetitive or recycled from the first movie (like airbags and weed), but others are fresh. The film also manages to incorporate some clever social commentary regarding gender inequality and female empowerment.
