What’s It About?
Hercules and his band of loyal warriors are hired by the king of Thrace to defend the country from a vicious warlord… but all is not as it seems.

Short Review: 100 Words or Less (no spoilers)
It’s ok. The story is pretty average and generally predictable. It’s not bad, just… mediocre. The sets, costumes, visual effects, and action sequence are all well done. The cast does what they can with a shaky script. Although Hercules is obviously the main character, Dwayne Johnson gets a lot of help from the supporting cast and some unexpected comic relief from Ian McShane. I might have preferred a story that focused more on the band of merry men (and women!) in Hercules’ entourage, rather than on the politics and palace intrigues that muddled this particular tale.
