Short Review: 100 Words or Less (no spoilers)
There are several things that Beyond gets right: a good premise, sympathetic characters, intriguing mythology, and a plot that moves forward instead of spinning in circles. Those are all good things. However, Beyond really struggles with the pacing of its scripts. It often fast-forwards through certain elements of the plot or the mythology, especially in the later episodes. The show helps you overlook those distractions by having genuinely earnest and likable characters. Edin Brolin (who plays late addition Charlie) was the standout for me.
